LGBTQ Pride March and Cocktail Party
The LGBTQ Pride March—the civil rights action that started in New York City in 1970—returns on June 24. The 48th annual March steps off from Fifth Avenue and 16th Street at 12 pm and proceeds south to the West Village.
Once again, Fifth Avenue volunteers are invited to join our friends at First Presbyterian Church to staff a water table along the march route, and help refresh and cheer on the participating marchers. Free t-shirts provided to all volunteers!
Not only is this a great way to witness to God’s love for all people, it’s also the best way to see the march!
You may sign up on your own, with a friend, or with members of your community group. The online registration form is here or visit the First Presbyterian website. Slots fill up quickly, so sign up today!
First Presbyterian also invites you to a Pride Cocktail Party at 6 pm Thursday, June 21, featuring their signature cocktail, Rainbow Sangria! All are welcome!
