Postponed: Organ Recital by Ryan Jackson

The organ recital by Ryan Jackson, originally scheduled for Sunday, Sept. 17, has been postponed until Nov. 12 as the technicians make final adjustments with the new organ console. We apologize for the unexpected delay and hope you will join us on Nov. 12.

Ryan Jackson, the William S. Perper Director of Music and Fine Arts Ministries, presents a thrilling hour of organ music to celebrate the installation of the Sanctuary organ’s new console, made possible by a generous gift from Marguerite and W. Reid Pitts, Jr.

The eclectic program features Healey Willan’s evocative Introduction, Passacaglia, and Fugue in E-flat minor, alongside pieces by Widor, Bolcom, Decker and Hampton.

Don’t miss this opportunity to hear the many colors of our majestic Austin pipe organ! This performance is free of charge.

This performance opens FAPC's 2017-18 concert season. Upcoming performances are listed here.
