Social Justice in Diverse Communities: Welcoming the Stranger

Fifth Avenue Presbyterian Church hosts a special, full-day program by the Interfaith Assembly on Homelessness and Housing. "Social Justice in Diverse Communities: Welcoming the Stranger" is intended for faith and community leaders who want to:

  • Change the conversation about the establishment of new, full-service transitional residences throughout New York City to replace the worst of the municipal shelters and integrate new neighbors into our communities as they strive to get back on their feet
  • Review important public policy initiatives regarding homelessness and housing
  • Learn about efforts to utilize faith properties to create affordable and supportive housing

This event is open to the public for a registration fee of $15. For additional details, and to register, click here.
