Theatre Fellowship Presents Ken Ludwig’s ‘The Game’s Afoot’
The Theatre Fellowship of Fifth Avenue Presbyterian Church presents its 2018 spring production, The Game's Afoot, or Holmes for the Holidays. Ken Ludwig's Edgar Award-winning mystery-comedy plays for 10 performances, closing Sunday, April 29.
Tickets are $25 for general admission, or choose your seat for $35. Tickets are available from Ticket Central (click here or call 212.279.4200) and may be available at the door.
The Game's Afoot is set in 1936 at the Connecticut estate of William Gillette, the celebrated actor/playwright who performed as Sherlock Holmes for years. When a guest is murdered during a Christmas party with his colorful theater troupe in attendance, Gillette fancies himself just the man to solve the crime. Ludwig received the Edgar Award for Best Play of 2012, presented by the Mystery Writers of America.
The Theatre Fellowship production is directed by Doug Paulson (who directed last year's popular production of Enchanted April) and produced by Lucy Cabrera. Fifth Avenue members among the talented cast include Theatre Fellowship veterans Janet Luhrs and Joscelyne Wilmouth.
