Toward Our Racial Autobiography: A Workshop

Racism, and its ability to tear apart our communities, is one of the most pervasive issues of our time. The church has a prophetic role in addressing this issue -- but first we must know who we are and where we stand in the story of race. The Rev. Mark Koenig, advocate for justice ministries with the Presbytery of New York City, and Executive Pastor Charlene Han Powell lead this interactive workshop, which will help us explore our experiences in relation to race and racism, and point us toward further reflection and action. Community groups are encouraged to attend this event together.
