Theatre Fellowship

A community of artists rooted in faith.

The Theatre Fellowship of Fifth Avenue Presbyterian Church exists to bring together members and friends of the church with others from outside the church to pursue our mutual theatre interests, leadership development and talent. As an organization rooted in Christian fellowship, we share our love of theatre at group gatherings, play outings and community group settings, and in all aspects of live production. Through our work, we hope to serve as a form of outreach within the church and to the outside theatre community, and to foster a spirit of creativity and faith. Connect with us at theatre@fapc.org.

Fall Events!

Theatre Fellowship invites everyone to two special events in September.

The first, presented by Theatre Fellowship and the Common Ground Community, is a unique commemoration of the 16th anniversary of the 9/11 attacks: Performing Tribute 9/11: Ordinary People, Remarkable Stories, by family members, responders and survivors of 9/11, followed by a panel discussion of the echoes felt today by New Yorkers and a talk-back with the cast and panel. This evening of storytelling and discussion will be presented free of charge, Thursday, Sept. 14, at 7 pm in Jones Auditorium.

On Friday, Sept. 29, our annual cabaret led by artistic director and Broadway star Jeanne Lehman French will be performed at 7 pm in Bonnell Hall. Titled "Fairy Tales, Wishes and Dreams" and featuring music from Disney and Broadway classics, the program will feature FAPC and choir favorites among the cast.

With a bar and snacks available for patrons, tickets at $25 for general admission and $35 for reserved seating will be available at the church starting in September and online at smarttix.com.
