Beginning this fall, the congregation of FAPC will embark on a journey through the scriptures, with the hope that we will corporately and individually grow to know God and ourselves more fully.  This “Bible in a Year” reading schedule will take us, somewhat chronologically, through every book of the Bible - without reading every chapter.  Weekly chapter assignments are spelled out on the bookmark, which is available in the Narthex or 55th st. entrance, or online.  Throughout the year, Sunday BiY classes will be held where you can gather to talk about what you’ve read and get some background and context for what is coming up.  Hopefully, spontaneous discussion groups will form out of this 8 month adventure and in the end, we’ll all feel a bit more personally and Biblically confident and wise.
