The mission statement of Fifth Avenue Presbyterian Church commits us to recruiting and renewing disciples and reaching out in love and compassion to a world in need. FAPC, led by the sprit of the living Christ, is dedicated to being a part of what Christ is doing in the city and world to bring justice and healing to all.

Members and friends of FAPC are encouraged to exhale the love of Jesus Christ through any of the outreach opportunities available to them -- from carrying "meals on heels" on weekends, to serving potato salad at the annual summer picnic for the homeless, to worshipping once a month at the Bowery Mission, to playing checkers with one of the older adults who stay in our church Shelter, to advocating for low income housing programs with our elected local and national political leadership, or to restoring the land or building housing as part of a mission trip or Habitat for Humanity.
