The Rev. J.C. Austin is director of the Center for Christian Leadership at Auburn Theological Seminary. He is a visiting lecturer in Presbyterian governance and a member of the Presbyterian Church (USA) Middle East Policy Monitoring Group.
Emily Dunlap served on the pastoral care staff of FAPC for 29 years before her retirement in 2011. She has a B.A. in English literature from Mount Holyoke College.
The Rev. Kate Dunn is the Associate Pastor for Pastoral Care and Outreach. She is a graduate of Princeton University with a Master of Divinity degree from Union Theological Seminary and a Master of Fine Arts from Columbia University.
Nathan Fuhrman is the choral associate of FAPC’s renowned choir, and a soloist and section leader. He studied vocal performance, opera performance and choral conducting at the University of North Texas.
Dale Hansen, a member of FAPC since 1994, has served as the volunteer church archivist for 10 years. He is currently a member of the Board of Trustees.
The Rev. Dr. Katharine Rhodes Henderson is president of Auburn Theological Seminary and the author of God’s Troublemakers: How Women of Faith are Changing the World (2006). Working with CEOs of major corporations, she has spearheaded an innovative program to promote ethical business practices.
Dr. Glenn Hubbard is dean of the Columbia Business School, where he is a professor of finance and economics. He has served as deputy assistant secretary of the Treasury Department, chair of the U.S. Council of Economic Advisers, and chair of the Economic Policy Committee of the OECD. He has been a member of FAPC for 17 years.
Linda Jiménez is FAPC’s first Lilly Resident in Ministry. She holds a Master of Divinity degree from Princeton Theological Seminary. Her course on prayer is inspired by her leadership in prayer ministries and her commitment to the practice of prayer in her own life.
The Rev. Dr. Scott Black Johnston is the Senior Pastor of Fifth Avenue Presbyterian Church. He is a former professor of homiletics at Austin Theological Seminary and a co-author of Theology for Preaching: Authority, Truth and Knowledge of God in a Postmodern Ethos (1997).
The Rev. Dr. Thomas G. Long is the Bandy Professor of Preaching at Emory University and the author or editor of 14 books on preaching and worship. In 1996, Dr. Long was named one of the 12 most effective preachers in the English-speaking world by Baylor University.
The Rev. Charlene Han Powell is the Associate Pastor for Christian Education. She received a Master of Divinity degree from Princeton Theological Seminary and has developed cutting-edge multifaith initiatives for young adults and the broader community.
Imam Al-Hajj Talib W. ‘Abdur-Rashid has been the Imam of the Mosque of Islamic Brotherhood, a Sunni house of worship in Harlem, since 1989. He hosts the radio program “Prophetic Echoes” and is the author of the forthcoming book, Reclaimed Legacy: Muslim Indigenous and Immigrant Peoples.
Rabbi Peter Rubinstein is the Senior Rabbi of Central Synagogue. He currently serves as the rabbinic chair of the National Commission on Rabbinic-Congregational Relations of the Reform movement, and is a founder and co-chair of the Partnership of Faith in New York City.
Dr. Choon-Leong Seow is professor of Old Testament Language and Literature at Princeton Theological Seminary. An ordained Presbyterian elder, he specializes in the wisdom literature of the Hebrew Bible and the history of biblical interpretation and reception.
The Rev. Randy Weber is the Associate Pastor for Administration and Discipleship. His course on Celtic spirituality is inspired by his personal pilgrimages to Iona, Scotland.
John Weisel is a principal in the Advisory Business Services practice of Ernst & Young. He has more than 25 years’experience in global banking and was instrumental in the creation of Mellon Bank’s “good bank-bad bank” restructuring program. He has been a member of FAPC for almost 15 years.
