‘A Life-Serving Foundation of Faith, Hope and Love’

On Sunday, Oct. 28, the Lovci family encouraged the Fifth Avenue congregation to participate in the 2019 Pledge Campaign, "FAPC Gives." And they did it in four-part harmony.

Olivia, age 11

I am Olivia Lovci. This is my sister, Jacqueline, and my parents, Mary and Marc. My earliest memories are here at Fifth Avenue Presbyterian Church. Within weeks of my birth, my parents began bringing me here. I remember being a toddler, sitting at the little chairs and table, and being read the story of Mary, Joseph and baby Jesus. I also remember going to the children's Fall Festival downstairs in the Christian Education Center dressed as a snow princess. And when when we walked outside after the party, it had begun snowing!

Jacqueline, age 14

I have been blessed to grow up with so many of you here in worship today. This church has provided me and my family with lifelong friendships, a place to explore our relationship with God, and opportunities to serve our community. Within these walls are loving leaders, nurturing volunteers, and a fun and safe environment for all of us to grow in faith and build our relationship with Jesus Christ.

Mary

We pledge because there has been no greater impact on our family's well-being than our faith community at Fifth Avenue Presbyterian Church. Through this church, we are nurturing in our daughters a life-serving foundation of faith, hope and love.

Marc

We feel joy watching the diversity of our friends, fellow members and guests walk into the Fifth Avenue doors each Sunday, knowing full well the amazing people and pastoral care that extends out into the world seven days a week, 365 days a year.  "FAPC Gives" truly reflects the heart of our congregation. In that spirit, we ask you all, our family in faith, to please join us in prayerful consideration of your 2019 pledge, reflecting upon all that is possible through God and the blessings of Fifth Avenue Presbyterian Church.
