A Prom on Fifth Avenue

“As they danced, they sang” (1 Samuel 18:7).

On Saturday, July 15, shouts of joy and songs of celebration rang through the Fifth Avenue Presbyterian Church. In Bonnell Hall on the second floor of the Curry Church House, the Fifth Avenue Young Adults (FAYA) held their first-ever prom. Attendees enjoyed merriment, fellowship, and classic prom touches, such as a photo booth. This exceptional evening harkened back to the days when galas and dances were a regular part of Fifth Avenue’s life.

Enjoy these great photos of Saturday’s fun and excitement!

Bonnell Hall is an elegant banquet-style room on the second floor of the Curry Church House. It is ideal for dances, large-group meetings, receptions, fundraisers, and galas.

The Curry Church House is named for Elizabeth and Ravenel Curry in honor of their generous contribution to our 2016 capital campaign.
