Project Find volunteers serve a noon-time meal on the second Sunday of each month to more than 100 seniors at the Project Find Coffeehouse.Fifth Avenue Presbyterian Church volunteers serve a noon-time meal on the second Sunday of each month to more than 100 seniors at the Project Find Coffeehouse located on 9th Avenue near the Port Authority Terminal. In addition to serving a monthly meal at the Coffeehouse, FAPC volunteers help staff Project Find's full course Thanksgiving dinner -- complete with music and dancing.

Project Find was started in 1969, as a continuation of a federally funded program, to care for the elderly whose lives were disrupted by the development of the Port Authority Terminal. In addition to the Coffeehouse, it has four other senior centers providing older adults on the West Side with basic support and services to help them live independently.

Patient and flexible volunteers are always needed to assist in serving the meals. On the second Sunday of each month you can journey to the Coffeehouse with other FAPC volunteers following the 9:30 am worship service, or you can meet the volunteers at the Coffeehouse.
