Hospitality plays a key role in the life of the church. This committee is designed to bring our congregation together at various church-wide functions throughout the year, enabling members and friends to meet and stay connected.
Church-wide events that we coordinate include the special coffee hour for long-term members following the annual congregational meeting, Homecoming, the Thanksgiving luncheon, and Cider Sing! in December. Come and be part of our group.
You may also join the Hospitality Host Program. The Host’s role is to greet and welcome members and guests at the weekly coffee hour. Many people who attend coffee hour don’t know anyone (they may be new to the church or just haven't had a chance to meet other members) and are seeking Christian fellowship. No special talent is needed to be a host, except a warm heart and a friendly smile! The time commitment is small; hosts generally serve once every 10 weeks or so. This is a great way to get to know people and give time to our church. Look for greeters at coffee hour wearing yellow carnations!
