Confirmation is the time in a student's life when he or she has the opportunity to explore what it means to become a full member of the church family.

Traditionally done during their 7th grade year, Confirmation is open to any student in Junior or Senior High who wants to learn the meaning and responsibility of an individual’s profession of faith in the Presbyterian Church and in turn become a member of our congregation.

Confirmation class is a series of Sunday workshops during which students explore topics such as worship, prayer, mission and Presbyterian polity.  Participants will learn what it means to be a Christian, and more specifically a Presbyterian, through these weekly meetings, mentorship, and planning their own worship service at the Bowery Mission. Classes will begin November 13th with a meeting for confirmands and parents, and run through March 4, 2012.
