Your 2017 Year-End Checklist

If you keep a checklist of everything you need to get done before year-end, may we add a few items to your list?

  • First, if you have not fulfilled your pledge commitment for 2017, please do so by Sunday, Dec. 31. It will help your church, and you’ll thank yourself come tax season! Go to fapc.org/fulfill to access your online account.
  • Second, if you have not yet pledged your support for Fifth Avenue Presbyterian Church in 2018, you might as well take care of that, too. You can pledge online at fapc.org/pledge, mail your pledge card to the church or drop it in the offering plate.
  • Third, if you believe God may be calling you to serve as an officer of this church, or you know another member who might make an excellent Elder, Deacon or Trustee, please send your recommendations to the Nominating Committee. Click over to fapc.org/officers to learn how the nomination process works. You will also find a list of our current officers and an online recommendation form. The Committtee will consider all recommendations submitted by Jan. 1.
  • Finally, if you are not (yet) a member of Fifth Avenue, how about a New Year's resolution to join? Our New Members Classes resume on Sunday, Jan. 7, with “Christianity 101." “Presbyterianism 101” meets on Jan. 14th, and the “Believing and Belonging” class, which is the only required class for prospective members, is on Jan. 21. These classes are designed to meet you wherever you are in your journey of faith. You can read about them at fapc.org/members. To enroll, contact Morgan King ([email protected]).

Now you are set for 2018! Happy New Year to you!
