Fifth Avenue Presbyterian Church will once again sponsor a 10-week bereavement support group for persons struggling with grief and the aftermath of loss.

The group, led by Ellen Theg, will meet Wednesday evenings from February 10 through April 14, 2021. The cost is $125 for the full program, and enrollment is limited to 10 persons. To register, contact Kristia Tolode ([email protected]). Financial assistance is available if needed.

Theg, a licensed psychotherapist and experienced bereavement counselor, has been counseling individuals on moving through grief and loss since 2001.
“The benefit of a bereavement group is the support and connection it provides with others during the grieving process,” Theg explains.  Learning to live with the ‘absent presence’ of your loved one is a process, and we hope that this group will support your movement along this path to acceptance of your new circumstances.”
