Through weekly gatherings, fellowship and special events, our youth engage the hard questions of life and faith, and get involved in serving the community and being part of the life of the church.
During our Sunday morning Youth Group meeting, we share our rose and thorns (highs and lows) of the week, and discuss Biblical texts and life topics that lead us to consider what it means to follow Christ as a teenager. Youth in grades 6-12 are welcome to join. We meet at 10 am. We are currently on the series Justice Fruit, which examines how the fruits of the Spirit intersect with justice work. To sign up, email [email protected].
Beyond Sunday mornings, our youth ministry also offers:
- Last Fridays. On the last Friday of the month we will gather in the Christian Education Center for dinner, games and Bible study.
- Special Events. The youth calendar includes overnighters at the church, as well as retreats, a night at an Escape Room, and other outings.
- Annual Service Events. Our youth lead the Souper Bowl of Caring and participate in the 30 Hour Famine, events that raise awareness and direct resources toward alleviating global hunger.

Faith in an Anxious World
We kick our series, Faith in an Anxious World, Sunday, September 19 at 9:30 am. We heard from YOU how school, the pandemic, relationships, and many other factors had affected students’ anxieties. So let’s talk about it!
For the next eight weeks, we will have honest conversations about anxiety and how faith speaks into our anxiety, and we will ask the question, “Where is God in all of this?”
We will do mini recaps on our Instagram stories as well after each week (@fapcyouth).
Series breakdown by week:
Life in an Anxious World- Sept 19 & 26
Life in a Relational World- Oct 3 & 10
Life in a Hurting World- Oct 17-24
Life in a Hopeful Word- Oct 31 & Nov 3
