The Rev. Jordan Tarwater, executive director and minister of the Urban Outreach Center at Jan Hus Presbyterian Church, is our guest for a discussion of the state and experience of homelessness in New York City. In a presentation titled “Homelessness and Justice-Centered Hospitality,” he will describe the work and culture of the Urban Outreach Center, which serves nearly 30,000 of the city’s most vulnerable people every year.
