Jason Roberts Organ Recital

The noted organist and composer Jason Roberts will perform works of Bach and other classical composers, as well as his own improvisations, during a one-hour concert hosted by the University Club. All are invited to this free event.

Roberts is the music director at Church of the Blessed Sacrament in New York and winner of the American Guild of Organists’ national competition in organ improvisation. His compositions have been performed at Princeton University Chapel in New Jersey, at the Walt Disney Concert Hall in Los Angeles and at Westminster Abbey in London, among other venues. Roberts has served on the music ministry at St. Bartholomew’s Church in New York and at St. James Episcopal Church in Hartford, Connecticut, and has taught on the faculty at Westminster Choir College. He has a PhD from Manhattan School of Music, a master’s degree from Yale University and an undergraduate degree from Rice University in Houston.
