The Word Is Out, Fifth Avenue’s LGBTQ+ community group, and the Anti-Racism Response Team invite all members and friends of the church to a free screening of the acclaimed documentary, My Name Is Pauli Murray.

Released in 2021, the documentary explores the life and career of an overlooked figure from history. Pauli Murray was a non-binary Black lawyer, activist and poet whose ideas about freedom and justice influenced Ruth Bader Ginsburg’s fight for gender equality and Thurgood Marshall’s civil rights arguments.
