Seneca Village Tour
This summer, continue our journey of learning and justice with a walking tour of Seneca Village—the largest community of free African-American property owners in pre–Civil War New York. On Saturday, July 26 at 2pm, we’ll explore this historic site in Central Park and learn how Black New Yorkers created refuge and community in the face of racial discrimination, only to be displaced for the creation of the park. Optional dinner together afterward. Tour is 90 minutes. Space is limited. Register here.
